HBJ&W Law LLP is the trading name of Hornby Baker Jones & Wood Law LLP. The practice was established by the principals, Vaughan & Hornby in 1887 in Newport. By circa 1910, the practice had grown and was known as Louis Hornby & Baker Jones with the usual change of Partners over the forthcoming years. The practice moved to the current premises in May 2005.

Whilst the practice has been trading since 1887 we consider ourselves to be a modern, dynamic law firm evolving in a variety of areas of law all the time.

We are highly skilled in various areas of law and have evolved with the ever changing climate.

Our aim is to work closely with our Client’s and we aim to make Client’s goals a reality. We pride ourselves on availability, affordability and approachability.
